Our Brief History

Atlas Body Shop was founded by Pete Leal Sr. in 1950. Through Pete Sr.'s good reputation, hard work & strong relationships with insurance companies, Atlas Body Shop has grown into a 3-story power house shop. Lasting 3 generations of the Leal Family & still going strong.
Building of Relationships

Atlas Body Shop, we will work with you and your Insurance Company to restore your vehicle to pre-collision condition while keeping you informed throughout the collision repair process.

We have DRP contracts with majority of all the insurance companies in San Antonio. We like to build strong working relationships with our insurers so we can better serve our mutual customers.

Here at Atlas Body Shop, we use the latest shop equipment, along with a strong, capable workforce.
About Atlas Body Shop

Atlas Body Shop is just down the street from Fort Sam Houston, by IH-35 and 281. The main building is surrounded by graceful trees with a beautiful stone fountain. The area is undergoing a successful urban renewal and we are proud to be a cornerstone of that process.

At Atlas Body Shop, the building now boasts 45,000 sq. feet on three floors. Body work is done on the first level, the paint shop is on the second, and vehicle storage occupies the third. At any given time 200 cars can be kept safely inside the building
